This collection belongs to one mind: Liyan, a Paris-based visual artist whose work moves between two instincts - one devotional, drawn in ornament and reverence; the other declarative, built from bold type and repetition. Summer Inasolia is six pieces split between those instincts. Three carry his devotional hand. Three carry his manifesto hand. Together, they're not six separate ideas - they're a record of one eye working in two registers at once.
